Sally began dancing at the age of
four and fell in love with it straight away! She appeared in several
shows as a child and competed in dance competitions, gaining numerous
medals and trophies.
After appearing in the Damuus Dance
Company for two years, Sally juggled her University education
with dance training to gain her teaching qualification with the
International
Dance Teachers' Association. She then taught at the Joan Ward
School of Dance in Lancaster, teaching all ages.
Having returned to Leeds, Sally has
taught at Elev8 Dance Academy in Calverley, but now dedicates
her time to Danceology. Sally continues to develop her knowledge
in the teaching of dance and is currently training for further
qualifications.

Kay started her dance career at the
age of four, just as little sister Sally was entering the world!
As a youngster, she regularly entered into local dance festivals
and competitions and performed in shows and pantomimes.
Her love of performance has been a
major factor in Kay's continued involvement in dance - she caught
'the bug' at fifteen in her first amateur show at Leeds Grand
Theatre, and was an original member of the Damuus Dance company
with whom she performed for four years.
Kay took her teaching qualification
at just eighteen, before pursuing an academic career at Leicester
University. In her spare time as a student, Kay founded a Tap
Dance Society where she taught classes each week and was also
Chairman of the Modern Dance Society.
Kay has also directed and choreographed
a musical and choreographed a charity fashion show. She is currently
on the committee of Harrogate
St Andrew's Players and can regularly be seen in leading roles
in their shows.
